Easter holidays in South Tyrol
In South Tyrol, the Easter holidays are closely linked to many ancient customs and traditions, which in several places are still lived with great joy and passion.
It starts on Maundy Thursday: Together with the family, boiled eggs are coloured – with natural colours made from beetroot, onion skins, and spinach or all sorts of other paints and stickers. Blown-out eggs are also painted, which then are used to decorate the Easter bouquet, for example.
Easter Sunday brings an exciting day, especially for all children. In the morning after breakfast, the kids search for the Easter nests that the Easter Bunny hid overnight. Spend your Easter holidays with us at the farm.
